The last leg of our South American Adventure took us to the historic city of Salvador in Brazil. Was particularly drawn there because of its history. It was also the hub of the slave trade for South America, much like Savannah in the USA. To walk in the square where public floggings took place was actually very disturbing . . it was like I could hear the screaming.
