Argentina 2014

Iguazú Falls . . . Argentina . . . Breathtaking

To include this country in our South American Adventure was something I never thought would happen in my wildest dreams.  A beautiful country infused with a lot of European history, the climate is mild and the people gracious.  Our experiences were amazing. When I think of Argentina, Evita immediately comes to mind, although there is certainly much more to it than that. It is actually very much like Alberta with the Pampas (prairie) being filled with ranching, cattle and real life cowboys.  Amazing artists throughout all the ages have left their mark with unique creations and gifts to the country. It has had quite an interesting political history, not all of it having been peaceful.  Iguazú Falls, one of the wonders of the world, is part of its Northern Border with Brazil. We did not get a change to experience the Southern part of the country . . . I guess that will be another adventure.

The following two links are to the two coffee table volumes that document our visit . . . .Please take a peek and see what wonders await you.

Argentina was a amazing country the food and the tango the women with their elaborate headdress and the men were in such marvellous shape their perforations were truly breathtaking. The gaucho ranch was truly an experience with their amazing ranch and all the horses, rides either in a wagon or riding one on one.the cowboys with their elaborite belts and their prowess at the game trying to steal a kiss from one of the ladies visiting the ranch that day is something that i will never forget. The falls were so very large seemed to go on for a least a kilometre the paths around the falls were so many it was easy the get turned around.ReplyCancel
